Foldable climbing triangle with slide board

Emmi Pikler was a Hungarian Pediatrician who developed a new theory of child development in the 1930s/40s, based on allowing the child to move freely and develop at his or her own pace. This also applies to the development of motor skills. In practice this means that children have the opportunity to learn how to move their bodies. This also includes climbing which is a natural skill for your child. A modifiable triangle is the most unique and innovative climbing triangle in the world and now you can create your own litttle playground at home.

Our solution is the modification and merging of several elements. First, we added a removable slide board, which after turning becomes also an inclined plane for climbing. Apart from this it was designed to take up very little space after folding. Folding is very easy and quick. To fold the triangle, simply loosen two screws. This is undoubtedly an advantage for parents who want to give their children the opportunity to play and move, but at the same time do not want or do not have the conditions to create a permanent playground.

The height of the board and the respective inclination is adjusted by attaching to the desired rung. This allows us to adjust the level of difficulty to the age and development of the child. The whole structure is very stable and suitable for children from age 1 to 6. Max load: 80 kg. Thanks to the ability to practice and consolidate motor skills, our foldable mini playground fits the popular Montessori philosophy.
